PARTICIPANTS

Ermias:
Serves as associate pastor at the Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Denver, CO. He has been engaged in community work both as a pastor and community leader. He is active with the Ethiopian adoptive parents and he is involved in community building for adoptive parents, and kids, inter-racial family.  He moved to US via Greece to Canada.

Sara:

A young enthusiastic Chemical Engineer. She lives and work in Denver, CO. Since her arrival to Colorado via Germany she has been engaged mobilizing and organizing young professional Ethiopians in a social setting. Information and networking to equip new immigrants for success has been her strong desire. 


Yosef

An Electrical Engineer. He is an active member of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church and the Ethiopian community in Denver. As a youth between first and second generation immigrant, Yosef likes to engage in what it means to be Ethiopian and American at the same time.


Kaleab

A recent graduate from University of Colorado at Boulder in structural engineering. He was an active member of the Ethiopian community at his school. He serves as a youth leader at a local newly established Ethiopian church.       


Tesfa:
A post-doctoral fellow in Environmental Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition to the environment, Tesfa is passionate about the history of Ethiopia and its diaspora in different parts of the world. He is a critical enthusiast of Ethiopia's political evolution from a Monarchy through Socialist and eventually into a  Democratic Republic.
